Valle de los Cirios, a natural protected area within the Central Desert of Baja California (better known as Cataviña), is a biological corridor between the Vizcaíno Desert and Sierra of San Pedro Mártir. It’s also a cactus habitat, desertic trees and endemic species, giant cardons, the Torote, different cacti species and bushes; a varied physiography where giant granite rocks are abundant. You can’t miss out on visiting the cave paintings of Cataviña.

If you want to explore and see the desert in depth, we recommend hiring tour guide services.
