VALLE DE LOS GIGANTES


This place is home to enormous cardón cacti, a species of cactus that grows on the desert sand, they reach up to 21 m high; this reserve holds 1,200 cacti. It can be found on Punta Estrella Ranch. There’s tours and services.


 


 

LAS CARAS DE MÉXICO, CAMPUS DE GOLF


An 18 holes golf course located inside Playa y Golf Resort de la Ventana el Mar. This golf course offers breathtaking views of the sea and mountains.


 


 

CERRITO DE LA VIRGEN / EL FARO


This place can be seen from any point in town, its a great area for a hike and the perfect spot for some awesome San Felipe Bay pictures.


 


 

MALECON


Visit the San Felipe Malecon, stroll along and find shops, restaurants and seafood carts along the way. A great beach to spend the day working on your tan.


 


 

CONSAG ISLAND


The Consag Island, a granitic outcrop was given its name in honor of Jesuit Missionary Fernando Consag. It’s a midpoint between San Felipe and Puerto Peñasco. Here you can watch sea lions during any season of the year.

They’re white sand formations, many movies and documentaries have been filmed near here. You can sandboard and ride 4-wheelers.

Awesome sunsets are served daily in San Felipe; El Cerrito de La Virgen, by the light house is the perfect viewpoint. You can also appreciate them from the magical Valle de los Gigantes.
